Sport and fitness

A range of Continuing professional development activities that will help you improve your practice and prepare you to deal with some of the trickiest issues you are likely to come across in community-based Sport and fitness classes. Particular attention is paid to how to:

  • work safely and effectively with learners
  • provide the necessary level of challenge for everyone; and
  • review progress and capture achievement.

The emphasis is on martial arts, yoga and health-related fitness as these are the most commonly taught disciplines within community-based Sport and fitness provision, but the principles hold good generally.
