Planning for relevance
These activities are intended to encourage ICT tutors to relate ICT learning closely to the interests of their learners. The emphasis on
getting it right for learners through relevant teaching and learning echoes the messages in the ICT Skills for Life standards at:

Planning for relevance is for use within a managed CPD programme, spanning more than one session. An interactive version of this resource is also available here.
In applying the messages of this activity to groups of their learners, tutors should be sensitive to the possible literacy, language and numeracy (LLN) needs of their learners.

If you are new to Skills for Life, this site is a useful general starting
point which you can explore as required. The section on teaching and learning
gives a good overview of the Skills for Life agenda. If you are already
involved in Skills for Life, you may find it useful to receive the regular
updates from the site. Also look at the 'Skills for Life guidance to teachers'
